Asian markets were trading weak. Hong Kong's Hang Seng slipped 0.67 percent or 148.18 points at 21,921.06.

 

Singapore's Straits Times slipped 1.01 percent or 32.77 points at 3,210.66.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted fell 0.85 percent or 69.94 points at 8,111.97.

Japan's Nikkei was up 0.78 percent or 101.29 points at 13,116.16.

China's Shanghai Composite was flat at 2,270.93.
